| Are LifeGem
created diamonds real diamonds? |
| LifeGem created
diamonds are identical in every aspect to natural diamonds. They have the
same brilliance, fire, and hardness as any high quality diamond you may find
at Tiffany's.
|
| What does
certified mean? |
| Our LifeGem created
diamonds, just like natural diamonds, are certified by the industry leading
Gemological Institute of America (GIA). LifeGem also exceeds all regulated
standards in the funeral industry, and by tracking the process from
cremation all the way to setting with extreme detail, we can ensure a
certified, high-quality LifeGem diamond created from the carbon of your
loved one every single time.
|

| Is the
LifeGem made from remains or ashes? |
| The proprietary
LifeGem creation process creates diamonds from the true essence of our loved
ones, the carbon. Our families receive the ashes as all others do when
choosing cremation, except our families also receive a certified,
high-quality LifeGem created diamond to memorialize their loved one's unique
and wonderful life.
Breakthrough! It has now
become possible to collect enough carbon from previously cremated remains to
create a limited number of LifeGem diamonds for our families. Because the
original cremation was beyond our control, and given the additional
intricacies of filtering carbon from preexisting remains, we use a different
process but the end result of a stunning LifeGem still remain.
|
| What kind of
research has gone into making the LifeGem? |
| The LifeGem team has
spent three years researching the need for a new memorial and developing the
certified, high-quality diamond with some of the best scientists in the
world, to be sure families get the quality and comfort they expect.
|
| What sizes
(in carats) can the LifeGem be? |
| A LifeGem can be
between .25 carat and 1.3 carats, with the same quality of the diamonds you
would find at Tiffany’s. Our diamond facility expects to be creating near
flawless diamonds of up to 3 carats in the very near future.
|
| How many
LifeGems can be made from one individual? |
| LifeGem owns the most
advanced technology and knowledge in the diamond creation industry. Our
process is so streamlined, we are able to create over 100 certified,
high-quality LifeGem diamonds as memorials for each family.
The amount of cremated remains needed equals about 8 ounces for as many
diamonds as you would like to order. |
| What is the
quality of the LifeGem diamonds? |
| The LifeGem techniques
create some of the most valuable diamonds in the world, both because of the
diamond quality and the memorial it creates. A LifeGem is also rare because
they come in colors uncommonly found in nature, including reds, blues,
yellows and greens. Our overall quality target is at the VS level.*
* Due
to the scientific nature of this process, your LifeGem will contain flaws
much like natural diamonds. Although they will be stunning to the naked
eye, clarity value minimums cannot be stated.
|
| What color is
a LifeGem diamond? |
| Like the most precious
and rare natural diamonds, LifeGem diamonds can currently be created in
yellow.
|
| Why would I
want a colored diamond? |
| Like the rarest
diamonds found in nature, known as "fancy", our stunning colored LifeGems
make a unique statement.
|
| What is the
process used to make a LifeGem? |
| LifeGem's unique
technology replicates the process of what takes billions of years naturally
for the earth to create and speeds it up to create a certified, high-quality
diamond in just a matter of months. The entire process of creating this
beautiful and unique LifeGem memorial for your family includes cremation,
creation, faceting and setting. |
| Is the
LifeGem creation process secure? |
| Because of the
extra attention LifeGem must pay to the detail in our process, LifeGem
assures that not only are your loved ones handled with care and respect, but
also that without question you receive a certified, high-quality LifeGem
memorializing your loved one’s unique life.
|
| Can you
create a LifeGem from individuals previously cremated? |
| Yes. It is not
only possible but highly probable that a certified, high-quality LifeGem
diamond can be created from previously cremated remains. Because the
original cremation was beyond our control, and given the additional
intricacies of filtering carbon from preexisting remains, we use a different
process but the end result of a stunning LifeGem still remain.
|
| Can you
create a LifeGem from individuals who have previously chosen burial? |
| Due to the many
questions that need to be answered in these situations, it is not possible
to give a definite all encompassing answer here. Please call us for
more information. |
| How do I

| We encourage families choosing
the LifeGem created diamond as a memorial to their loved ones life to work
with their current funeral services provider. They are highly trained care
specialists and will easily be able to coordinate the LifeGem creation along
with other services you may have chosen.
|

highest priority and ensuring you receive a LifeGem diamond created from
your loved one is our number one goal. Therefore, our doors are open. Of
course some intricacies are proprietary, but all other areas are available
to witness to guarantee our clients comfort level. The LifeGem advanced

this for pets? |

account and, of course, offer our services and products to pet owners as
well. |
