ABOUT US

Brunner Funeral Home in Mentor, Ohio, was established in 1949 by Raymond V. and Helen L. Brunner.

The original home was built in 1845 and has attained distinction as a local landmark. The acquisition of Brunner-Nixon Funeral Home in 1981 expanded our service-area to even more of Lake County.

In 1992, Ray & Helen sold the funeral business to the second generation and current owners: James. E. Sanden, Martha Brunner Deitrick, Nancy Brunner Sanden and Charles M. Brunner.  1999 proudly saw the beginning of the third generation when Brian Deitrick joined the Brunner staff. Since then he has been joined by his cousins Jason Sanden & Adam Sanden.

“Today, we are the funeral service professionals of choice for Lake County residents. Our responsiveness, attention to detail and ability to create a special experience on any budget is why Brunner's is considered the finest funeral service professionals in our community. First class service is the hallmark of our business.”
